Hi guys,
I had 2 SQL Servers on my machine, one was the MSDE netSDK
and the other was MS SQL Server 2000.
I removed the latter as I was quite happy with MSDE but
as soon as I removed it the play icon in the SQL Manager
disappeared and I get a message saying
'Cannot find the file specified' as there is nothing in
the services drop down combo. How do I fix this. I still
have all my databases in the netSDK.
Thanks in advance
Regards
tribalIfI remember correctly removing the SQL Server instance removes all of the
GUI tools. You'll need to find a free GUI for the MSDE since the once that
came with SQL Server are gone.
