Cannot Start

Hi,
We have someone running SQL 2000 on an NT 4.0 server.
Today, for some reason, the SQL server will not start.
In the log I see the following errors
1. The C: disk is at or near capacity. You may need to
delete some files. (12:01:06 PM)
2. The SNMP Service is ignoring extension agent.dll
C:\WINNT.SBS\system32\wspmib.dll because it is missing or
misconfigured. (11:57:31 AM)
3. The SNMP Serice is ignoring extension agent.dll
C:\WINNT.SBS\system43\w3pmib.dll because it is missing or
misconfigured. (11:57.31 AM)
The SQLSERVERAGENT service depend on the MSSQLSERVER
service which failed to start because of the following
error:
The operation completed successfully.
Do you think the system was infected?
Thanks
Rich
Hi ,
Try starting SQL Server from command prompt.
sqlservr.exe -c
here it gives you the detail of the cause for failure.
Thanks

|||Hi Hari,
Thank you for your response - It really helped. Turns
out it was a trial and the license expired. We are now
scrambling to order SBS Preimun to get the application up
and running. Thanks again for your help.
