OK.. I'm stumped.
My IE 7 is working fine. I can access any websites I want with one
exception. What is this exception?
I recently installed MS Reporting Services 2000 on this computer. All went
well.
When I try to access the http:// site where all of my reports have been
deployed, IE 7 shows a blank page with the message:
"Bad Gateway 502". [code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND] The host name was not found
during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is
not found by retrying the URL.
I have tried using another Browser (Firefox) on this computer and it
accesses the page just fine. I have even went one step further by trying to
access the http site
from another computer (also using IE7) via an Intranet. It works fine.
This is the only webpage that is not working.
Where can I make changes? It is not asking me for a password. It is not
even partially bringing up the webpage.
I have tried clearing all history inside IE7. I have tried to check the
settings in
the IIS section. I have updated my IE7. I have even uninstalled IE7 and
tried to use IE6 but to no avail. I am using XP Professional.
I don't know where to look next! Is it a Reporting Services issue? IIS
issue? IE7 issue?
Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Sr. Software Consultant|||Yes... your suggestion worked like a charm. I made the adjustment in IE7.
While I believe that this approach did solve the problem, I cannot say that
it was the exclusive controlling factor. You see, I also un-installed RS
2000 and re-installed it again. My belief is that your recommendation was
the determining factor and not the reinstall of RS 2000.
Thank you.
